Mac OS Design Mode locked after computer startup

Question

There is an issue with Design Mode Lock. During computer startup (Mac OS), when opening MDP2 (v 2.3330), Design Mode is locked. Need to go to Config > Options to unlock. Then select Already Bought, and Unlock again. MDP2 should remember my purchase.

I believe this existed since MDP2 was available on M1 Macs.

I am not able to reproduce this problem.  Can you check your app store and verify you are signed in to your Apple account.

I changed the category to use support. Everything is working as it should be — the Design Mode lockout happens because user doesn’t have the IAP — but I’m not sure why OP would lose the IAP. Sounds like a file system permissions issue. What about the TF build?

It is the Extra Features pack that I have purchased on the iPad. It accepts my response that I already bought it. At that same time when starting MDP2 after starting my Mac I always get a popup stating "MDP2 on macOS ... macOS support is provisional ..." They seem to be linked together.

I don't ever manually lock my layouts. It always happens to me when first starting MDP2 after starting my Mac, not when Loading a file. MD Next doesn't seem to have these issues.
