Label edit issue in Mac OS cause and workaround

In the past I reported about the problem editting labels in Mac OS. I have identified the cause and have a workaround. It is explained in the attached video.

I do not see this problem using 2021 MacBook Pro.
Thanks for checking. Since I discovered the workaround and it works for me, it will not be an issue.
I just checked using a mouse on my iPad and get the same behavior. So it's an existing issue using a mouse, at least with my M1 iPad Pro. Since I don't use a mouse on my iPad for designing, I never noticed it before.
