MicroMonsta 2 Layout for MM2 firmware *earlier than 2.5.3*.

Now that the new version of MDP is out in the wild I can also release a new improved version of my Audiothingies MicroMonsta 2 Layout.

This version will accept sys-ex patch dumps from the MM2, allowing any patch to be analysed and edited.

A few things to note:

This Layout works with MM2 firmware earlier than 2.5.3. If you have updated your MM2 to 2.5.3 then use a later version of my Layout than the one here. At the time of writing the 2.5.3-compatible Layout is here: https://mididesigner.com/qa/9811/layout-audiothingies-micromonsta-2

The patch name and category are for display purposes only - editing these will still have to be achieved on the MM2 itself.

Some of the controls on the Layout will not be 100% accurate to the numeric parameter value in the MM2. This is due to the MM2 and MDP not completely agreeing on the translation of MIDI values. On the whole this shouldn't be wildly inaccurate, but it is important to be aware.

What was needed from new MD version, native iPad support? For which, iPad Pro 11"?

Bugs fixed and visually enhanced. I even managed to work out how to upload it. Man that process is convoluted!

How do folks figure out which download is the new one?

And how do I upload new images?

I'm having difficulty sending the patch from the MM2 to MIDI Designer. Seems midi is working. I see attributes change on the MM2 when moving the control on the MIDI Designer interface. Any thoughts?

Audiothingies updated their firmware and incremented one of the parameters in their sys-ex header. I suspect you have the latest firmware in your MM2. This new version of my Layout should work for you:
