Expression pedal/ meris pedal

hello, I am completely new regarding midi ;-)
my plan is to use the 4 pedals (on the image below )performances and to control them via midi. I bought a yamaha bluetooth midi adapter to control these stompboxes with the ipad. mididesigner is the max, but ... Since the meris pedals use their expression input as a midi input, I lost an important function.
I can not play the expression button while playing on the ipad :-)
is there a way to connect an expression pedal to the ipad? I am also still in trouble with syncing with the eventides H9. (tap)
does anyone know how I can sync these all 4 via mididesigner?
sorry to ask so many noob questions ;-)

Hi matsuoka, so you do only get a choice between one or the other.  You would probably have to add another device to get midi and exp.  The new DMC Q connect may be a solution that allows for midi and expression I believe DMC also makes some other products that have an expression and MIDI connections but I’m not 100% sure as I haven’t used them.
