I have a few Moogs, (they do after all have a bit of a solid reputation in the synthing world ;)) and by far my favourite is the Sub Phatty. To the point where I actually own two of them, and play them side by side for that "poly" experience. No Moog sounds like the SubPhatty in my opinion.

So, Moog made a brilliant synth, but, they got a little lazy, well, I'd say economics had a large part to play...the bean counters (accountants) were shouting at the engineers..."Keep the cost down...we need to target the low-mid end market!". Well, fair enough, you can't have everything for a cheap price. 

On the Sub Phattys, a lot of very needed control, was shunted to hidden "shift and key" presses. Now, I have little memory left due to my love of "White Widow" and "AK48" and trying to remember these combinations is not conducive to good sound design. 

All the hidden control is now on this layout, but, only the hidden controls, anything that uses a knob was left out intentionally because, I still like to feel the synth.

This layout has TWO pages which are basically identical, but as you can see they both, each, have Midi Channel controllers. Because I have two Sub Phattys, I need two controllers, one for each synth. If you only have one Sub Phatty, then simply delete the other page.

Best parts are the Filter Pole switch, and the envelope controls for the VCA and filter, the reset buttons let you turn them into "quasi" LFO's and you can get some farout results.
