The layout is set to MIDI channel 7

Hi olorin the Meris layout is setup for channel 7 so you would need to either change the channel on the layout to the one the Enzo is set to by opening up the page control tab, and under control actions selection pick Renumber Controls, select your channel and select change channel only.  Alternatively you can change the pedal to channel 7.  Best of luck to you on your MIDI adventures.  - Mitch

Hi! Thanks for your answer. But I can't find the page control tab. Is it somewhere in
the config options you have by clicking on the top middle of the layout? There are 5 windows: connexions, midi, actions, options, pedalboards and about. how do i navigate through the panels to find that specific settings?
Sorry was giving you iPhone instructions.  Double click on the Enzo page tab while in design mode then click on controls  and then renumber controls tab should be the first one.  It does require the extra features pack to edit the layout, alternately you can change the channel on the pedal itself.
Hi, I have unlocked the Design Mode. I doubled clicked on the Enzo header in design mode and it opened the controls/properties window. in pannel properties I noticed the channel/CC offset settings was 7. Still no responses from the enzo. What I'm doing wrong here?
I have also entered the enzo global settings to set the MIDI channels: i've tried 7 and omni with no success so far. Enzo is still unresponsive to midi designer inputs.
Okay it should be working then.  Maybe a problem with you’re connections.  What is your setup, how is everything connected?  Are you using a Meris MIDI I/O?  Bluetooth or lightning connection to the iPad?
Actually I believe there is a compatibility issue.  Did you speak to Meris about using the iRig for midi control?  You would still need a Meris midi i/o, empress or chase bliss midibox to pass MIDI to the Enzo.  A cable with 5 pin midi on one side and trs on the other will not work
My connections are: I pad to I rig Midi 2 and I rig Midi Out to Enzo via a Lehle DIN to TRS cable ( this model: https://lehle.com/PL/Lehle-MIDI-Kabel). You still think I'll need an extra midi box between the i rig and the enzo ?
Yes, you can contact meris to be 100% sure but I'm pretty confident their pedals do require either a meris MIDI I/O or another MIDI box. link - https://www.meris.us/product/midi-i-o/
Also empress makes one - https://empresseffects.com/products/midibox2
(chase bliss and empress make cheaper ones, the advantage of the meris i/o being it sends MIDI out from the pedal on all four trs lines, I think the empress box send MIDI out on 1 line and the cb box will not send MIDI out via TRS only in)
Just wanted to check back in with you to see if you have had any progress with this?  I remember speaking with Meris about their pedals having to have a MIDI i/o or midibox to work with MIDI some time ago.
Hi, well I did try some extra things here and there, but now I'm even more lost. I bought an Empres Midibox2. I knew that I needed to do some mods on the pedal in order for it to work, so I de-soldered pin E4 and soldered pin E12 on the back of the board and checked electric connections ( see here : https://www.vguitarforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=24353.0 ) . Then I connected my i rig to the Ipad and start sending MIDI. I checked for channels ( there where OK, Enzo midi set on 7 and design layout on 7 too). Still nothing. I thought I needed a TRS cable instead of a normal patch jack. So I went to buy one. I did my last test a few minutes ago and still not an ounce of succes.  I'm now completely lost on this. Really don't know what to do. It seems that all the MIdi is being sent properly as I see the witness leds blinking. But the Enzo dos not react to any of it. It stays on the same setting whatever I do on the app. Thanking you in advance for any help you can provide me with.
I did it !!!!!! I forgot to set the enzo exp input to Midi !!!!     This changed everything!     Thanks a lot for your help !! Now let's the fun begin !! Cheers !
Great, I'm glad you got it working.  It is easy to miss the simple steps with all that complexity going on.
