This is great! These little korgs are so popular and always seemed to me like they would benefit from MIDI control.  I don't use one though, could you tell me what the benefit of MIDI control for the keys is?  Are there features you can't access without MIDI?  Also what changed from the previous layout? Thanks again!
Thank you for your kind words.
Volca (in my case the Keys) (and sample) is a analog synth. BUT over Midi you can manipulate many values.
That's great. The knobs are tiny, and it is nice to control the Keys over a free to design UI.
I think
- the X/Y Pads are a cool enhancment,
- the Expression Button is not build in Hardware (i'm not 100% shure - but i think it is not the volume knob ;-)
In the Midi_Chart doku i found this about "Expression":
*1: Received when global parameter MIDI RX ShortMessage is set to ON.
*3: Cannot be changed with machine operations; can only be changed with MIDI.

- Pitch bend is NOT a Hardware feature (but i don't understand "at this time" if / how it works)
- At the place of the MD - logo is in Hardware a PEAK knob. (That is not supported by midi !!!) So i place the MD-logo at this place.
The Midi-Doku can found at: http://i.korg.com/uploads/Support/USA_volcakeys_MIDI_Chart_E.pdf
Next "UI Extention" could be to build some "presetsounds", but i think about how to realice this with MDpro?!
I could made a new Layout and preset some Knobs with values. But how to transmit it (on load?)
And it would be better to find a solution to send some Midi/CC Values if i select ONE Knob. Then i could Build some knobs
in one layout to send a collection of preset-values by pressing different knobs. (Oh, I'm afraid I'm expressing myself again. :-)
But hope you understand my wish. Like a ROMPler i want many single Knobs to send pre-designt Soundsetups .

Now I'm back to the point that I want a kind of macro language in Midi-Designer to be able to send Midi / CC values to an APP / hardware.
Greetings , Frank
Thanks for the info Frank, I believe what you are asking is if you can save presets?  If so we have a detailed chapter with video explanations on programming presets here - http://mididesigner.com/wiki/doku.php/manual:chapter-presets
Let me know if that helps or answers your questions
Hey Dan, many thanks for this usefull informations.
That‘s a cool features.
Great that the values are send to device by loading the preset.
20 presets are limited, but good enought for the beginning.
It is easy to set the values with the UI and save them in an preset. Easier as my first idea to save them in a value list in the options of a single button. I will test to build some preset knobs for different soundpresets.
Is there a solution to update the values of an preset direct from the UI ?
I will make an example in MD to show you what i mean. Something like:
A button and "smaller" second button to update (save)  the new preset values of this actual preset,
without typing the MORE button and selecting the correct preset number.
Thank you very much for your great and fast support, Frank.
New "Version 2" out now ;-)
Okay I think what you want is a slider that will recall your presets?  What you could do is 1. Make a picker 2.  Under properties tab select the subtype Presets.  3.  Make the picker a super control of all the knobs you want to save 4. Make two buttons, one for saving presets and one for recalling them 5. Under relationships select store preset and set this to the button you created to save the preset, then do the same for recall preset, select the button you would like to use to recall the preset.
Here is an example of a page using the picker to recall presets as I explained above - http://mididesigner.com/qa/6562/layout-layout-for-meris-ottobit-jr
Yes, that is a really cool variante of a preset picker to save and load a preset.
I will test it. Really cool.
