Can I Remap incoming MIDI

Hi

I'm new to MIDI and want to know if I can set up MIDI Designer to do this with my GigRig G2 switcher

My G2 sends out PC messages fixed to the pedal number ie pedal 1 = PC1 pedal 10 = PC10 etc. I would like to set up MIDI Designer so that I can have the G2 send its PC to one channel of MIDI Designer which then sends out various PC messages on other channels. My hope is this will allow me to call up various presets from my wide variety of pedals. Is this possible?

It's possible to receive a Program Change in MIDI Designer and "mult" it to many channels by using a supercontrol to receive and several subcontrols to resend out. However, unless this is the only MIDI translation you need to do, you might be better off with a true MIDI transformer like MidiBridge or MIDI Flow.

Thanks Dan, I'll gig that a go. I'm sure I'll be wanting more comprehensive Midi messaging in the future. This is just the first step to get me off and running.
