Adjust velocity range for a drumpad

Question

Hi,  I'm using drumpad buttons to send note on/off, controlling velocity based on vertical touch position on the button.  

With tall  buttons I'm getting a velocity range from 127 at the top to about 55 at the bottom.  I'd like that to go down to 1 at the bottom, the lowest possible velocity.

How do you adjust the velocity range?

I think this does it. 

And then you can specify your MIDI range so it's 1 instead of 0. Also, make sure to use "send on only" for drumpads, too.
