Named Ticks on Knobs to Buttons

If the MDP sees that  there are less than 8 values for a knob ESPECIALLY NAMED TICKs, we should be able to change the type of control to button. You’d turn the KNOB to a BUTTON and each button press would advance to the next value and TICK would be shown. Many hardware work this way especially if manufacturer wants to save a knob and replace it with a sequential button.

Thanks, it's a great suggestion. Right now, you need a momentary button supercontrol to do this and it does not reflect the name of the named tick of the sub.
