Thanks for your question. That's not currently possible in MD, so it's a feature suggestion (and, oddly, one we've never had before AFAIK). Wondering a bit about how this would work (you can comment on this answer, perhaps): so if you tweak the subcontrol it's always being moved relative to where the supercontrol is when you move it?

If/when we do implement this, would you be interesting in helping to test?

This might take a few months to happen, please note.

That's exactly how it would work. I can also send you video examples of a VCA's in use.

I'd be glad to test.

FYI, I'm a contracted beta tester for PreSonus and hoping to use MIDI Designer when MIDI control of the mixers gets implemented in the next few months.
Thanks, this is pretty exciting. We REALLY like features with almost no UI implications in Design Mode. Looking forward to learning more, thanks!

Would this be possible? Each sub-control can select the type of relationship in the group, i.e. Slide 1 = Relatative & Slider 2 Absolute.
funny you should mention it, but "subcontrol options" is the most underpopulated page in MIDI Designer, so yes. The only thing is that you wouldn't be able to specify different relationships for each super if the thing had multiple supers.
