What is required to make the templates work

Question

Hi, I've been a Midi Designer user for a couple of years, but only recently did I download a community created template.  The X3 template.  I appended it to my templates, it shows, but it doesn't work.  When I looked at the configuration I didn't see any midi channel information.  Obviously I would want to modify every icon with a midi channel, so I'm assuming there is some way to do a global replace with my desired channel.  Could someone please tell me what I'm missing.

It's per page, but it should get you there.

Back up first by mailing your layout to yourself (config -> actions -> email layout)

Thanks for the quick response!  I love Midi Designer, it is the control center for my home recording studio.  My MIDI network consists of 12 devices, and I control 10 of them using Midi designer.
