Midi connections: doubling hw midi device and keep looking for wifi midi

Hi,

I am using Md with a yamaha midi cable.

Sometimes it disconnects from it because of the weak plug and, sometimes you can see that it sees the device twice, causing some midi troubles in values sending.

Also, it keeps looking for wifi connections while i use none.

I have the feeling that this may cause some troubles and would like to deactivate this option. Unfortunately switching wifi connection off doesn't have any effect.

Advices for these two issues ?

Hi and thanks for the question.

1) It's not really looking for Wi-Fi connections. It's occasionally searching for new Bonjour broadcasts of MIDI endpoints, which is just a small power drain unless you connect to them, or they connect to you.
2) Which Yamaha MIDI cable are you using, and what are you connecting to? Looking forward to helping you get sorted.
