Confirming:
1) the supercontrol on the page is momentary?
2) the supercontrol on the page... what's their MIDI Min and Max?
2.5) what's the midi min and max for the button on the page?

Also check the log and see what the softstep is sending. CC's, I hope. What's the MIDI Max and Min? The softstep is variable, right?

Looking forward to getting you sorted. Thanks.
Yeah, for some reason, the MIDI learn was interpreting CC 47 instead of CC 60, which is what the Softstep was set to send.  By manually midi mapping the supercontrol, I was able to get it to work properly.

I figured this out, in case anyone is having a similar problem.

Strangely, when using the MIDI learn button inside of MidiDesigner, the control was not applying the correct MIDI message.  Inside of my Softstep Editor, I had the physical pedal programmed to send CC 60 on channel 1.  When I was using the "learn" button, it was not applying 1-60 to the footpedal supercontrol; rather, the message was listed as 1-47.  When I manually changed the CC message of the supercontrol, it began to respond appropriately.

I'm not sure if this is a bug, or something I'm still not clearly understanding about the MIDI learn feature.

Please check the Log in MIDI Designer to figure out what's up. It would be awesome to get some clarity on this while the problem is still hot. Thanks for sharing!

(Is it possible the Softstep sends two? or...?)
