Sysex via Live Routings (Mac)

Hi - I assume that the tutorials for wifi set up for MIDI are intended to allow people to control their hardware via their Mac. However, 'live routings' in the Network MIDI set up filters out Sysex messages, so I am not sure how this is possible.

 I have a Roland D550 connected to a MOTU micro-lite, and that in turn is linked to my Mac. My D550 is on Port 2/Channel 5 - if I set the Network MIDI to route to Port2/Channel 5, its filtering out Sysex changes so I cannot edit it.

Thoughts?

see if you can get our Java software up and running. If you can, it will do MIDI routing. However, other solutions would be nice, too:

Okay. If you don't find anything, let us know and we'll step you through using MJDJ... though it should be quite direct to figure out. The "Null Router" -- which is what you need -- is already built in. You don't need to use Java to do anything at all.
