Any chance of gyroscope input being added alongside the accelerometer option?

Sure, but how would you see this working, exactly? When we reviewed accelerometer and gyroscope we didn't see an obvious way to implement. How would you like this to work from a user perspective?

Thanks for the prompt reply.

The Accelerometer switch under MORE, could be a Gyro/Accel switch and then under the Advanced tab the roll menu could (in addition to None, X, Y) have Pitch, Roll, Yaw with the corresponding 0.50/0.75/1.00 range options also included.

Personally I have a powerful guitar performance setup (thanks to Midi Designer) that includes an iphone attached to the back of the guitar to give additional performance control of FX apps running on an iPad.

Currently I've been using Control by Charlie Roberts to translate the direction in which the guitar is pointing (gyroscope yaw) into Program Change commands or stereo pan controls.

Your Accelerometer implementation works extremely smoothly on the iPhone when Midi Designer is the foreground app. Ideally I would like to run everything under your one Midi Designer roof!

I would like to echo exactly this request. I didn't ask before now because I didn't realize there was a difference (between gyro and accelerometer).

It would be helpful to also have a "re-calibrate gyro" button type so you can reset the "0" position easily.
