Customize tick marks on sliders - possible?

It would be so awesome if somehow the tick marks could show up to some degree or another on the sliders. For instance, drawbars would look like drawbars with the 8 tick marks showing accordingly.

Love this suggestion and how it's not the typical, "please provide prettier sliders"... although they're both valid suggestions on many levels ;)

Thanks for this suggestion. It's not just on our list: it's also partially in the code... the ticks are actually drawn for each control. This doesn't actually help you as a user, but it should serve as a positive note on the road to this suggestion actually getting implemented.
