Possible to make an XY pad that behaves like a Korg kaossilator (or ikAossilator)

Hello,

Is it possible to make an XY pad that behaves like a Korg kaossilator (or the ikaossilator app?)

The ikaossilator app behave like this. The X-Axis represents notes in a specific scale. The Y-Axis controls some synth parameter such as vcf, cutoff, resonance, or some other parameter.

The reason I ask is that I love the ikaossilator app but it cannot be used as a midi controller.

Is it possible to then change the notes by selecting a button? example the notes in the X axis are C Major, but if I hit a button the notes change to the E minor scale.

The reason I ask is that the ikaossilator app cannot change from one key to another on the fly, thus limiting it's usefulness for live solos over chord changes... (The app chordion does what i am asking however it is missing some of the other great functionality of ikaossilator.)

I also have thought about another approach where you use keyboard keys to control the notes and then overlay an XY pad to control synth paramters in the Y axis. Can you trigger both keyboard keys and an overlaid xy pad at the same time?

Can I hit a button to change the note values of the keyboard keys? (just like the example above where the keys represent C major then I hit a button to change to E minor.)

The transpose will solve the most common scale changes (it will work for major and minor scales and all the standard modes, but not oddly spaced scales like bebop and blues etc.)

You could experiment with transpose and Named Ticks, perhaps?
