Using supercontrols to change NPRN/CC numbers

Question

Hi, I am currently trying to produce a layout for the Novation MiniNova. There are 6 Envelopes to control. What I am trying to achieve is have a single set of sliders to control the ADSR values and then have a Supercontrol knob which alters the NPRN values of the sliders in fixed increments so it, in effect, acts as an Envelope selector. However, is this possible as I can't see a way how?!

Using Note Transpose subtype button as a SuperControl will allow you to change a controller type (CC).

Many thanks for this. I can get this to work with CC type. However, I am trying to get it to 'transpose' the LSB segment of a NPRN control message. I can only get the Supercontrol to change the MSB segment. Any ideas?!

Yes, use two transpose subtypes  to control a MSB/LSB combo.
Because Midi Designer is flexible you should be able to set up any combination of controls to do almost any midi task.
You can actually set up your own NRPN using Control Change instead and using NRPN and have one button to set both controls.

If you still can't resolve the issue because of the logic used to serve NRPN then you should definitely negotiate a new feature with the admins.
