Summary: Author's notes: "Dave Smith invented MIDI back in 1983. In 2002 he came back with his own firm, Dave Smith Instruments and the first synth was the Evolver Tabletop synth. It's a mean machine with a brute sound and it's one of my favourite synths ever. The MIDI controls are rather reduced, e.g. there's no way to control modulation targets of even LFO. Anyway, maybe this is better than fiddling with the knobs." Enjoy!

Dave Smith invented MIDI back in 1983. In 2002 he came back with his own firm, Dave Smith Instruments and the first synth was the Evolver Tabletop synth. It's a mean machine with a brute sound and it's one of my favourite synths ever. The MIDI controls are rather reduced, e.g. there's no way to control modulation targets of even LFO. Anyway, maybe this is better than fiddling with the knobs.
