iRig midi thru function

I'm trying to use MD with Roland JD990 and IRig midi interface on IPad ... The problem is ... Whan I send midi in notes on IRig and Midi Thru is activated, notes incoming on midi in are not "rewrited" on Midi Out ... What's wrong ? Thank you ...

Where is the midi coming from? The thru option only works for hardware IN, unfortunately

I would "copy" MIDI IN notes from IRig MIDI IN to IRig MIDI OUT ( JD990 )...

The goal is to connect a master keyboard to IRig MIDI IN, activate the "Thru" function and copy IRig MIDI IN to IRig MIDI out ...

In this way I could play notes and control JD990 via MD ...

I hope it is a clear scenario ...

Very clear. I cannot test right now, but I believe you only get thru to other outputs. However there's an app here http://www.audeonic.com/#midibridge that might fit the bill. Anyway, ping back here if I don't respond by Tuesday please

Just a note ... Midibridge works great ...

Regards Midi thru from IRig Midi IN, no way, for what I can do it doesn't work ... Any update ? Thanks a lot

Hi. MIDI thru from iRig back to iRig won't be supported in 1.6.1, which was already a release candidate when this came in. We need to study this to decide if it makes sense. Initially, we never echo back to an input's output, but we might decide that this makes sense. However, get in touch via config - actions - email and perhaps we can float a strange alpha for you.
