Hi, we need to break this problem out into component parts to understand what you're having trouble with. First off, do you need to know how to send a bank AND program change in one button press? If you Google this with MIDI Designer you'll find it.

THEN: The interesting thing is that various supercontrols can share a bank change subcontrol, especially if it's set to "send current value"...

I might have to do a video tutorial on this. Let me know which of this doesn't make sense and I"ll explain it better. Thanks!
Aaaah ... I got confused with the "one big page"/banks and bank change with program change ... strange things were happening ... I almost got it talking with my Nord ... once a program jumped forward ... but perhaps this is too complicated for me. Sorry!

Thanks for trying to help me anyhow!
No, this is definitely not too complicated, we can figure it out, but we have to work together. Send a mail via config -> actions -> email us and we'll work together to get this solved. This weekend is going to be a bit spotty, but we can probably move you forward.

In your email, please try to include what you have managed to do with the Nord and MIDI Designer (even if it's nothing yet ;)).

Best!
Dan
I figured it out yesterday.

The "blame" is on the thin NL2X manual. I started with the JV1010 instead and the manual had some examples that quickly pointed me in the right direction.

The only drawback I see with the NL2X is the puny 3-digit display. And the later Nord Leads seems to have the same one. Hence the excitement over a smooth librarian.

Thanks!
So you're resolved on this issue? Yes, sometimes thin manuals can be worse than no manual ;)
