Long press midi actions

Question

Hi,

I am using MIDIdesigner as a add on to Loopy. With your program, i am able to connect multiple loop volume settings, to 1 of the expression pedals of my FCB1010. I'm very thankful for this.

Is there a possibility to have different actions when a midi button is pressed for a certain period of time?

I read that Midibridge is capable of having this functionality but it is not very easy to implement, http://forum.loopyapp.com/discussion/885/long-press-midi-actions#Item_19. Also there is a big favor of just using 1 Midi program in the background.

Hi Tom, you mean that depending on how long you hold the button down for, different MIDI messages are sent?

Yep. So that pressing down on the footswitch just sends a signal to MIDIDesigner, which then waits and see if the button is pressed for more or less than X milliseconds, and then on release is able to send 2 different CC depending of this X value.
Being able to do this will result in me not having to buy another FCB1010 because of having not enough switches. Not to think of people using a 4 button blueboard or of the like
