MD, fishman triple play, audio bus!

Question

Hi all, having a ball with MD controlling my guitar rack! Suddenly a behringer fcb1010 becomes a liquid foot pro ;) Can't wait for more updates!

The last piece in the puzzle is this Fishman triple play and it's wifi dongle....currently I've got the behringer board running into an iconnect 2+ which works great, but I'm not sure if I can use the other Usb B port (with an adapter) for the FTP receiver. Has anyone had any experiences with this yet? Ultimately I'd like to be able to change patches from ios Synth/sample apps from md via the behringer board in one push. I'm running on a 3rd gen iPad also....surely that'll have enough juice to run MD and the synth apps in the background?

Hi and thanks for this question. Any chance you could spell out your setup a little bit more?

The 3rd gen iPad can do some pretty serious multitasking, but multiple synths and MD might be taxing... also the 3rd gen is kind of a strange mix of fast processor and even more processor intensive screen calculations, so it's sometimes slower than the 2... But anyway, these questions are best resolved empirically when possible.

Yeah sorry, I should've been more specific with the setup. Basically, its the behringer fcb1010 into the iconnect midi 2+, which is connected to the ipad 3 with MD being awesome, then midi out to the rack where its split to everything else.

What I'm hoping to do is perhaps control patch changes from Animoog/sunrizer etc from MD whilst the synth app(s) run in the background. The big question is whether or not the Fishman receiver's midi stream would mess with anything I guess. I've got a USB B to A adapter on the way to try it out, so I guess I'll know soon enough!

Was just wondering if anyone else had some experience with the triple play and multiple usb/midi devices feeding the same host device.

Thanks for the info re the 3rd gen ipad too; I hadn't really thought about how much juice that screen must take to run! Would love an ipad air, but the funds...the funds ;)
