Variable note value in one control - possible?

Question

I'm new to MD so please excuse if this is a FAQ (I've searched but not found anything).

Is it possible to control the note value of a control, like the 'Channel Changer' subtype does for MIDI channel?

i reckon I can achieve what I want (to select and output different MIDI notes via a slider or knob) by creating a series of 'note' buttons, controlled by one supercontrol. However, that method seems long-winded.

I'm slowly getting to grips with MD and I think it's great! Your YT tutorials have been very helpful. Many thanks for all your hard work.

Hi and thanks for your question. This is really a "transpose" function. Right now, this isn't available in MIDI Designer. We're hoping to get that feature out soon.

Thanks for pushing for what you need. Transpose is definitely coming up, and it's because we get a lot of requests AND it's core to the MIDI Designer mission. Other features... not so much ;)
