Mackie Control or similar

Question

I mix live sound on a live sound mixing program called Software Audio Console. THe program and mixing environment works well enough with few glitches, but has no direct iPad app and the developer isn't interested in making one.

One of the users of Software Audio Console found your program and was able to connect to the SAC console though a midi template, but there appear to be some limitations. Would you consider taking a look at SAC and seeing if you can offer some more direct hooks to use your program to build a control surface for SAC?

I haven't tried building a template yet, but I have read that there are no meter updates and that there are some channel limitations. How can we use Midi Designer to more directly interface with SAC? The developer has created a Mackie Control midi template, but I read here on the forum that you don't yet support the Mackie Control.  Can you look into that?

We don't have the resources to look into SAC, and what you've written about Mackie Protocol is correct. However, I'd be delighted to assist you in your investigation of SAC, so we can figure out a course forward. That course MIGHT include having to implement something (or a lot of things) on the MIDI Designer side, but the investigation should be pretty straightforward.
