Is this possible w/o additional s/w?

Question

I need to read an expression pedal cc value, and:

On a transition from 0 to >0, send a sysex value

On a transtion from >0 to 0, send a different sysex value

I could do this w/ Max, etc., but I'm trying to avoid a laptop if possible.

I've got it set up & sending  sysex on any cc value change, but that's where I'm stuck.  I'm thinking this requires scripting, which I can't find in MIDIDesigner.  Hope I'm wrong...

I think we can find a way to do this with supers and subs. However I'm out until Monday and will circle back then. Thanks!
