Hi and thanks for your question. Can you give some context as to what you're asking about, please? Perhaps the Antares/Peavey layout? Thanks...
Hi,
I've got the same question. I created buttons which select the specific midi notes for keyswitching. Everything works fine but I've got two "problems". The buttons are toggle buttons now. When the first button/articulation is selected and I want to change to another button/articulation I first have to deselect the first button (otherwise it stays active) and than select the next button. I tried momuntary buttons (works as well) but than I can't see which button is active. So is there a way to switch between multiple buttons?
Regards,
Michiel
I'm having the same problem. For all the millions of things one can do with a controller like this, the one thing that brung me here a few hours ago is the need to add a real or virtual mini-keyboard to my DAW so I can play high-pitched violins, piccolos etc. on the top octaves of my 49-key controller while keyswitching their articulations way down at the typical C1> range with MIDI Designer. So far, all I've come up with is buttons. But they have to be toggled rather than hit once for each keyswitch, as one would do with a regular synth keyboard. Is there no simple MIDI keyboard simulation available for this app?
Hi Syd, yes, you can absolutely create a keyboard with MIDI Designer. Please see:
1) Keyboard shapes

Thanks for your question.
Michielmullink, definitely check out Button Groups in MIDI Designer. You can combine them with Send On Only. Thank you!
Perfect! Many, many thanks for your wonderful apps* and user support.
*Before you replied, I quickly upgraded from MIDI over Wifi to MIDI via USB thanks to Music IO, which is so fast I was able to "double-click" those now unnecessary toggle buttons with no perceptible latency.
That's awesome.
1) you may want to check out "send on only" (both for supercontrols and for any button), which might help
2) if you're happy with MD, please consider leaving a nice review in the App Store.
3) but most importantly, enjoy!
Thanks!
Dan
