I am using the lite version of Midi Designer on an iPhone running iOS 5.11. My computer is running Windows 7 64-bit.
I have installed rptMidi and set up an Ad-hoc network to connect my iPhone. My iPhone finds and is able to connect with the only issues regarding types of encryption (I can get around this by disabling security keys/encryption on the network, which I don't mind for this.) My phone is also able to successfully join the session I created with rtpMIDI as per instructions provided on it's webpage.
I open MidiDesigner Lite (current version as of 5/6 11:00 PM PST) and am able to connect to the session in rtpMIDI.
However, using various diagnostic tools (MIDI-Ox & virtualKeys, and two seperate DAWs) I can tell that MidiDesigner is able to receive MIDI data from other controllers (virtualKeys) However midiDesigner does not seem to output any midi data from controllers I add, seemingly regardless of its settings.
Is this a limitation of the "lite" version? I was under the assumption the only limitation was the ammount of controllers which can be created at once
If not, would anyone have any suggestions for fixes/troubleshooting?
Thanks in advance.
