Prophet VS template, I need help

Question

Hello to all members, 

I'm trying to create a template for my Prophet VS, I can easily map the "normal" parameters like modwheel with CC, but can't find the right way to control more specific parameters like cutoff, reso, or env. it probably need some sys ex code and  that's where I'm completly out...here is a link to some pages I scaned from the Prophet VS user guide , I believe the answer is somewhere here http://www.deep-forest.fr/2013/05/03/prophet-vs-user-midi/... So; how to set a slider to cutoff frequency ??? sys ex ?? how to write it ? any help is welcome

My initial impression, looking at the doc, is that these are 14-bit NRPN messages. If you switch the message type to NRPN (14-bit) you'll see how to put the MSB and LSB in. The data entry LSB and MSB may work as is... the first question is whether you can get the parameter to move at all. Give 14-bit NRPN a shot, first, please. Thanks!

thanks, both NRPN (0-127) and NRPN (0-16K) works, what is difference ?
It seems that when I change different parameters the prophet change both value for a very short time (few msec) is there a way to avoid it ?

Hi, if NRPN 0-127 works, use that. The other one is essential in other situations. Can you give a concrete example of what you mean by "change both value for a very short time," please? Thx.

ex: If I move slider assigned to cutoff from 0 to 90, then slider assigned to reso from 0 to 25, then back to cutoff from 90 to 50>>>>reso changes a bit from 25 to 40...or so, value change all the time, then back to reso to set coorect valur I need (25)>>>cutoff moves to another value.... So It's quite complicated to set correct value to cutoff, reso and amount. Same happened with env on filter or Amp. Any ideas ?

Sorry, on the really simple side, can you get through the whole range on ONE parameter with its knob?

Any update to solve the problem ? still have value changing when touching another knowb or slider. It makes the template useless and almost impossible to design a sound.

Hi and thanks for bumping this thread.  So you can control ONE parameter from a knob via NRPN. Can you switch to a different parameter and control that and move through the full range? I'm trying to determine what's going on.

yes I can access to every parameters (cutoff, reso, amount, rate, level, any... )but the problem is that when I adjust a parameter (I have full range access) then switch to another parameter , the previous data moves, and so on...
