I am having latency problems. Any Suggestions?

I've made some drum pad buttons, but most of the time when pressed they tend to play a second or so later. It must be a latency issue I think. Is there any suggestions as to how this can be fixed?

Latency problems may have several causes, but the most likely culprit is your Wi-Fi network. The first thing to try would be an ad-hoc network. For ad-hoc, check out the page here.

The other possible cause is MIDI Loops, which are harder to diagnose (but not impossible).
