I dig the suggestion! In fact, I've been thinking about that since I answered your question the other day: community sourcing the manual. It's a great idea. Let me think about an appropriate wiki platform and get that set up.

While the specifications are stuck in the code, they are not secret. Most things can be sussed out empirically, and I'm glad to help correct what's not. That's meant to sound encouraging; I hope it does.

So... let me do some thinking and platform choosing over here. Thanks!
Thanks for the enthusiastic response! Can I suggest that an item of priority is the creation of a glossary detailing all that's part of MIDI Designer so that we're all singing from the same hymn sheet? Not only would it list any item to be found in MD but possibly the parameters within which that item operates together with links to the appropriate (to be created!) section of the manual. Quite a separate item to one that might include a MIDI glossary of terms.

I'm hereby offering to help in any way I can once you've decided the platform. Any info' you want preparing, sourcing, editing, checking, table creation etc.
