MIDI Designer XG (MDXG) is an app to easily access the often hidden YAMAHA XG sounds built-into YAMAHA’s XG compatible instruments, including all CVP Clavinovas, and certain top end CLP Clavinovas, Avant Grands, Portable Keyboards and Workstations. Often XG sounds are included in instruments to be compatible with MIDI files that contain 16 track recordings in the background. However, this app allows for those voices to be selected and playable  (over 480 voices) from your YAMAHA instrument’s keyboard. 

• Use MIDI Designer patent pending touch dials to select voices simply by sliding your finger on the iPad’s touch screen 
• Alternatively, select each voice individually from the expanded choice screens
• Try the voices you select either by playing your Yamaha instrument’s keyboard, or using the apps virtual keyboards in the app
• Save your most used sounds in the Global Presets for instant recall
