Could've given up after the first "insert hours here" but NO .... Overdue ,speedy access to level , pan , reverse, etc of the poor mans Akai Mpc. Still available mainly from Japan for about £150 , the Sampletrak also outperforms most Roland sp series phrase samplers, albeit with confusing midi documentation and poor slave midi timing. Otherwise it's still a great phrase sampler. Remote midi triggering of samples ignores that pads loop settings so this layout is more  for setting levels and immediate sample reversing during sequence playback. Also One knob for all FX with fxtype visual feedback , thanks MD Team.

Yep, it is soooo last century ! Whatever happened to decent hardware phrase samplers eh ? Well there is £999 octotrack ? ... Ouch and the Korg volca ( with no audio inputs !?)
