MIDI Target Manufacturer(s): Moog
After rack mounting my Moog Slim Phatty to save some table space, I decided it would be helpful to build a MIDI Designer template to address the numerous "under the hood" controls of this very cool synth. Since staring the project, I have added a Little Phatty to the arsenal, so I decided to add all the MIDI-addressable controls for both versions of the synth.
This version of the layout reflects all the MIDI controls that are documented in the Moog Users Manual Addendum - OS v3.1 (671) released June 16, 2011, as well as a couple of tips that have been mentioned on the Moog Music users forum.
The layout is designed to use the "One Big Page" configuration option of MIDI Designer, and consists of two page tabs.
The "Sound" tab includes all the MIDI controls that would generally be needed to design and "tweak" basic sound parameters:

The "Control" tab includes all the MIDI controls that would generally be needed to adjust playback parameters, such as arpeggiator settings, keyboard options, etc.

Note concerning the "Single Synth Only" label for the Arpeggiator "Run" button ~
I'm finding that Little and Slim Phatty poly-chains (especially the arpeggiator) tend to be a bit temperamental at times, especially when controlled by MIDI sources other than the primary controller for the poly-chain. In other words, if using this layout to control a LP/SP poly-chain, it's probably going to be most reliable when using the LP's hardware controls to start, stop, and reset the arpeggiator
Both tabs feature the same "Global" and "Glide" panels. The Global "MIDI Channel" control can be used to reassign the MIDI channel to all controls in the layout simultaneously, figuring it might come in handy for folks with multiple Little and Slim Phatty's in their arsenal. It only allows 5 MIDI channels, figuring that should be sufficient for most folks...
Note concerning the rotary controls:
Every control that features named range settings are accurately reflected by the control.
For example, "LFO KBD Trig" has the three range settings: OFF, ON, and AUTO. These are the only settings that are displayed when using the control.
Controls without named range settings will display the complete 0 - 127 range.
Also, with so many adjustments available on the screen, I find it can be helpful to use a touch-screen stylus to move the controls, versus my fat fingers!
